Man arrested following dispute

A Whitehall man was arrested after he allegedly struck his girlfriend following a domestic dispute on Saturday at their School Street home.

Arnulfo J. Jimenez, 26, of School Street was charged with criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a misdemeanor, and harassment in the second degree, a violation.

Jimenez is alleged to have struck his girlfriend following a dispute over a text message. The blow caused the victim to suffer minor injuries.

Jimenez was processed and released to appear in court at a later date.

The case was handled by officers Randolph Bevins and Daniel Price.
