Parenting classes offered

C ornell Cooperative Extension of Washington County is offering a parenting class for separated or divorced parents.

The class will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on April 24 and 25 and will focus on helping parents understand the impact divorce is having on their children as well as what their children are experiencing and how they can help them through this transition. Classes are designed to help parents create stronger, healthier and more positive relationships with their children.

Classes will be held in Fort Edward and cost $30 to attend. Scholarships are available for eligible enrollees.
