Bow hunting safety courses offered

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Washington County is offering two Home Study Bow Hunter Safety Education Courses next month.

One course will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Hudson Falls Fish and Game Club.

Anybody interested in taking the course must pre-register and pick up a manual from 1 to 3 p.m. or 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at Hudson Falls Fish and Game Club on Route 196 in Hudson Falls.

Another course will offered from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21. Registration for that class will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. or 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at the Hudson Falls Fish and Game Club.

Class sizes are limited.
