Dock diving competition in Bomoseen Sept. 29

DOCK DOGS JEFF LEONARD AND CHESTERThe Lake House Pub and Grille in on Lake Bomoseen is hosting the fifth annual

Dog Dock Diving competition to benefit the Rutland County Humane Society (RCHS) on Sunday, Sept. 29.

Registration begins at 11 a.m., practice jumps begin at noon and competitive jumps begin around 1 p.m.

Each dog will get a practice jump and a competitive jump. The 10 dogs with the longest jump will reach the finals for a third jump. There will be prizes for first, second and third place, longest jump, biggest splash and most comical.

Tickets cost $5 for entry or viewing and can be purchased at the door. All proceeds benefit RCHS.
