Ferguson paces X-C team

PJ Ferguson fell just short of picking up his first win of the season in three-team race last Tuesday versus Lake George and North Warren.

Ferguson finished two seconds behind Lake George’s John Ferrone. The two ran side-by-side for most of the race with Ferrone narrowly edging Ferguson near the end of the race.

As a team, the Warriors defeated Whitehall 19-41 and edged North Warren 15-50. Whitehall defeated North Warren 15-50.

Ferguson who completed the course in 17:20 was the only Whitehall runner to finish in the top 10.

The results of the girls race was identical to boys race.

Lake George won the girls race defeating Whitehall 19-41 and North Warren 15-50. Whitehall defeated North Warren 15-50.

Victoria Davis was the top finisher for Whitehall, completing the course in 27:17, good enough for ninth place.

Whitehall hosts Hadley Luzerne and Warrensburg next Tuesday at 4:15 p.m.
