Horde, Railroader battle to scoreless tie

DSC_0029 webIt was a scoreless game when the Granville girls soccer team played against Whitehall in non-league action on Saturday.

Coach Jane Havens said the teams seemed evenly matched, hence the final 0-0 score that did not go into overtime.

Whitehall had many more attempts on goal than the Horde did, at 25-4, but Granville goalkeeper Gabbie Hilder was able to hold them at bay.

Granville is now 0-7 in the league and will try to overtake Hoosic Valley this afternoon in the girls’ second game this season against the Indians.
