Soccer team evens record

OshenWhitehall was firing on all cylinders in a lopsided win against Salem last Thursday.

The Railroaders got goals from four players and goalie Erika Harker notched her second shutout of the season in a 5-0 win over the Generals.

Jacob Morales scored his first two varsity goals and Cariana Jones, Sydney Davis and Olivia Short all added goals for Whitehall.  Jones, Caitlyn Sandford, and Oshen Keli-Beayon all recorded assists.

Salem’s Brianna Morris had 20 saves in the loss.

Morales scored his first goal halfway through the first half and Jones extended the lead less than two minutes later.

The scoring output was Whitehall’s highest of the season.

With the win, the Railroaders improved to 3-3 in the Adirondack League.
