Study abroad fundraiser next weekend

A erial Ramey, Whitehall’s past Junior Miss, has an opportunity of a lifetime.

She will study abroad in Denmark in the spring of 2014. In order to help her make her dreams come through, there will be a basket part on Sunday, Dec. 15 at the Modern Woodmen of America in Wells.

Doors will open at 11 a.m., and drawings will be at 1 p.m. The cost is $5 at the door for the first sheet of tickets and $2 for extra sheets. In addition to the baskets, there will be food for 50 cents per scoop, a bake sale, a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction, a lottery tree and more.

Any and all donations will be accepted and appreciated, including baskets, gift certificates, silent option items, lottery tree, baked goods and food items.

Clutter Bug is planning the event, and Kristal’s Lyttle DJ Service will offer music and announcements. For drop-off locations call Drew McDonald at 518-796-6449, Tanya McDonald at 518-796-5967, Trish Vance at 518-742-9067 or Renee Burch at 518-361-8920.
