Bowlers downed at Stillwater


Whitehall’s varsity bowling team was swept 4-0 last week at Stillwater, in its lone match of the week.

Adrien Hollister was the top performing Railroader on the day, rolling individual games of 127, 168 and 189 for a total of 484 pins. Adam Hayes had the second best total for the Railroaders, as he knocked down 90, 152 and 136 pins, for a total of 378.

Stillwater had three bowlers eclipse the 500 pin mark, Britaney Meyers rolled a 192, 170 and 225 for a total of 587; Shawn Aycock knocked down 176, 195 and 167, for a 538; and Brandon Dyer rolled rounds of 133, 201 and 170, good for a 504.

The losses drop Whitehall to 0-28 on the season, while Stillwater moves to 14-10. This match concluded the 2014 portion of the season for the bowling team.
