Hebron woman charged with urinating outside store

A Hebron woman faces several charges, including driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana, after witnesses and staff at Cumberland Farms say she urinated in the Granville store’s parking lot the afternoon of July 21.

Police were called by a store employee at 1:30 p.m. when Patti A. Dube, 54, threatened to urinate on the pumps after being told there was not a public restroom at the location.

Dube, after swearing and yelling at employees, exited the store and began urinating by the door of her vehicle near a parking spot, police said.

Police say a man was attempting to block view of her actions while the car door remained open. However, she was in plain sight of the store and customers.

As police arrived, Dube was driving a white dodge from the parking lot.

Police report Dube had difficulty answering questions and was stumbling.

Dube failed field sobriety tests. A breath test determined her blood alcohol content was 0.10. Under state law, DWI is charged when the BAC is at least 0.08 percent.

Police also said Dube was belligerent and hostile during processing.

In addition to DWI and possession of marijuana, Dube was charged with disorderly conduct for creating hazardous or offensive conditions.

She was issued tickets for all charges and released to a third party.
