Benefit Auction

G RANVILLE The Slate Valley Museum will host “Cocktails on the River,” its annual auction fundraising event against the backdrop of the Mettowee River on Saturday, Sept. 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. The live auction will start at 8 p.m. Musical entertainment by Dave Burns, Anderson and Tom Behan of the Taylor Hill Ramblers, and local country musician Phil Hoyt. Tickets: $35 per person or $60 per couple. Cash bar, first drink free. Reservations and prepayment requested.
