Dog Days

R UTLAND Let your favorite pooch take a dip in the pool at the Rutland County Humane Society’s Dog Days of Summer Pool Party, taking place from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 24 at White’s Pool in Rutland. A free swim event, including games, for dogs only. Dogs must be leashed and up to date on rabies vaccine. Admission is $5 per dog. Proceeds benefit RCHS. Information: 802-483-9171 or www.rchsvt.org.
