Easton Day

E ASTON The Easton Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) invites everyone to join them as they celebrate Easton Day on Sunday, Sept. 9, beginning at 10 a.m. The event commemorates the “Feather of Peace” – a time in 1777 when a party of Burgoyne’s Indians set aside hostilities and joined Easton Friends in worship. Storytelling, potluck lunch, singing and a presentation on “What Is ‘Radical Accompaniment’? and Why We Need It.” All are welcome. Information: 518-677-8934.
