Exhibit Opens

September 13 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

S ALEM “Mills on the Kill,” an exhibit curated by Salem Deputy Historian Judy Flagg with Sally Brillon and Elizabeth Cockey, will be on display at the Historic Salem Courthouse Community Center in Salem from Sept. 11 – Oct. 11. The public is invited to a free opening reception with the curators on Thursday, Sept. 13 from 6 – 8 p.m. The exhibit portrays the history of the industrial mills along the Battenkill from the mid-19th century until present day through early photographs, drawings, artwork and objects from the material culture.
