Flag Day

June 14 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

W HITEHALL Elks Lodge 1491 and American Legion Post 83 will be hosting their annual Flag Day ceremony on Thursday, June 14 at 6 p.m. at Whitehall’s Riverside Veterans Memorial Park. Following the ceremony, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will assist the Legion and Elks in disposing of “unserviceable flags” by rendering honors to the tattered flags and then burning them. Whitehall residents are welcome to bring any “unserviceable” flags to the ceremony to be disposed of and join the Elks and Legionnaires at the Legion post at 148 Main St. in Whitehall, N.Y. for refreshments and food afterwards.
