Picnic

F ORT EDWARD The Fort Edward and Washington County Historical Societies will hold a membership picnic in celebration of the bicentennial of the Town of Fort Edward, the 165th anniversary of the rescue of Solomon Northup and his book, “Twelve Years a Slave,” and the 65th anniversary of the Old Fort House Museum. The picnic will be held on Thursday, July 12 from 5-7 p.m. Price: $15 per person. Reservations and information: Washington County Historical Society at 518-747-9108. Old Fort House Museum, 29 Broadway, Fort Edward, N.Y.
