Secret Garden Lecture

M ANCHESTER The Green Mountain Academy of Lifelong Learning and Opera Theatre of Weston will present a lecture, “The Making of the Secret Garden” at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 24 at the Riley Center of the Arts at Burr and Burton Academy in Manchester. The evening will include musical highlights by the professional cast. Opera Theatre of Weston will perform the East Coast premiere of the play at the Weston Playhouse and Paramount Theatre in Rutland in January 2015. Tickets are $15 online at www.greenmtnacademy.org or $20 at the door.
