Vermont Actors’ Repertory Theatre will present “The Last Night of Ballyhoo,” by Alfred Uhry and directed by Alex Nicosia, Thursday-Sunday, April 4-7, and Thursday-Saturday, April 11-13, at Tuttle Hall Theater on the campus of the College of St. Joseph in Rutland. Performance times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. In December 1939 in Atlanta, Georgia, the city’s elitist German Jews are concerned with who is going to Ballyhoo, the social event of the season.
