The officers could remain the same, but the department could change hands. Whitehall Village Mayor Francis “Fra” Putorti said he is willing to put the matter of turning the duties of law enforcement in the village over to the Washington County Sheriff’s Department.

Superintendent vaults to Ravena Superintendent Daniel Teplesky confirmed Monday that he will be leaving the Granville School District for the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk School District in July.
