Canidates set for vote
In Whitehall, there is no one named “unopposed” on the ballot. In every race for the 2009 General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 3, every seat up for grabs in the town of Whitehall has at least two people running for the position, starting at the top administrator’s job.

Board institues new policies on gas Loose ends are being tied up. That was the goal of the Whitehall town board on Nov. 12 as they passed a new policy on use of town property and personal vehicles and enacted a new reporting system on fuel and equipment used at the town highway garage.

Brian Rozell’s response to the Whitehall town board was quick. He resigned. Rozell, the now former highway superintendent who is at the center of an investigation into the use of fuel oil at the town highway garage, sent in his letter of resignation to the board on Oct. 31.
