Brandon Thomas led his team to a win over Tamarac and Emma Willard at Tuesday’s cross-country meet at home. The sophomore finished the 2.9-mile course in 17 minutes and 25 seconds, beating his previous course record, set on Sept. 11, by 34 seconds. Lake George’s Dan Jardine edged PJ Ferguson by three seconds to claim first place in an Adirondack League cross-country race held last Tuesday in Whitehall. Marion Gendron placed fifth in the girls’ triple jump during Sunday’s Indoor Track meet atHudsonValleyCommunity College. Granville finished third in the Saturday ‘Ace for the Cure’ tournament with Adirondack League power Hadley-Luzerne taking home first place.
