Town tax receipts down
Whitehall’s town clerk said tax receipts are down more than a $100,000 compared to the same time last year. Julie Millett told board members that as of Feb. 4, she had received $446,496 in county tax receipts from town residents, nearly $112,000 less than the $558,286 she had collected at the same point last year. Millet to step down
The town of Whitehall is looking for a new clerk. Julie Millett, who was appointed as the Whitehall town clerk in January 2008 and was elected to the post the following November, will be stepping down from the position at the end of this week.
