Boarded up, but hopeful. A sign in front of Schoony’s North Granville Grocery proclaims the thanks of owners Bob and Dorie Schoonmaker as well as their clear intensions to restart the popular neighborhood grocery-deli. A fire Black Friday evening ripped through the attic storage area, heavily damaging the structure.

“We all really appreciate the outpouring of support from the community,” Schoony’s Bob Schoonmaker said. Close Call in East Quaker Fire
