A sign in front of Schoony’s North Granville Grocery proclaims the thanks of owners Bob and Dorie Schoonmaker as well as their clear intensions to restart the popular neighborhood grocery-deli. A fire Black Friday evening ripped through the attic storage area, heavily damaging the structure.

“We all really appreciate the outpouring of support from the community,” Schoony’s Bob Schoonmaker said.
