Finding love at the local diner
A little preface to this story, if I may. Last year, I found love at a Whitehall Railroader basketball game. This year, realizing that this week was the Valentine’s issue, I headed off down the road to the American Legion Hall to find love birds and their stories during the Washington County Cares lunch hour.
Train brings cheer, donations
As the band started to play, the snow began to fall. The feel of the holidays was in the air as hundreds of residents came out to the Amtrak Station to meet the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train on Sunday, Nov. 30.

She came to America with her husband. Together, they settled down in a town which was named after the husband and built a luxurious castle.
