Village Election March 15

Voting for the Granville Village elections will take place Tuesday, March 15 from noon to 9 p.m. in the village hall at 51 Quaker Street.

Village clerk Rick Roberts said the voting will be on paper ballots as the number of voters in the election is expected to be low with no contested races. Former trustee Brian LaRose is running without opposition to take the seat of retiring Mayor Jay Niles. Village trustee Dean Hyatt seeks to retain his seat while taking the seat formerly occupied by LaRose will be Paul Labas; both men also run unopposed. Finally village judge Roger Forando seeks reelection; he too has no opponent in the coming election.
