Whitehall’s cross-country team competed in the Greenwich Invitational in Saratoga Springs on Saturday and PJ Ferguson led the Railroaders, finishing in the top 25.
Ferguson covered the 3.1-mile course in 17:38.7, good for 23rd place.
Andreas Meyer Giesow (20:38.8) and Tyler Sweenor (20:39.3) finished in the top 100, finishing 98th and 100th, respectively. David Greenough (21:42) finished in 119th place. 161 runners competed in the race.
Taryn Tracy was the only female competitor for Whitehall, finishing 69th out of 141 girls in a time of 23:45.6. Both the boys and girls teams were incomplete.
The team will compete in the Adirondack Championships in Queensbury this afternoon.
