Day Trip

Crown Point Road Association will offer a day trip to visit and tour three history museums in and around Albany, New York, on Saturday, July 20. Departure will be from Rutland at 8 a.m. and Bennington at 9 a.m., with return to Bennington around 5 p.m. and Rutland at 6 p.m. People interested in life in the 1600s and 1700s can take a cultural excursion to museums that document the early Dutch settlement in what is now Albany. Reservations required. Cost: $70; $65 to board in Bennington. Information/reservations: Tom Hughes at 802-388-2967.
